Project Showcase
Sinai Hospital AHU Retrofit
Advanced Thermal Solutions recently retrofitted two air handlers at Sinai Hospital replacing critical components to ensure the quality airflow generated for critical hospital spaces. Both air handlers were retrofitted with TMI Climate Solutions fan arrays totaling 16,500 CFM with a two by two fan array each, each fan controlled by an ABB variable frequency drive. The fan arrays had Tamco Series 7600 back draft dampers supplied on each fan, as well as Ebtron airflow measuring stations to accurately track the flow of air moving into the space.
ATS also provided eight coils in the replacement paired with American Ultraviolet UVC bulbs to passively clean the coils to ensure the cleanliness of the coils themselves, the unit, and the air moving into the hospital. A final coating of Blygold was applied to the floor walls, ceiling and drain pans using a Blygold Refamac 3509 Primer and a Refamac 3600 topcoat. This allowed for resealing of the unit and ensured long lasting quality of the drain pan and interior casing.
Freedom Readiness Center: VTS Air Handling Units
Advanced Thermal Solutions worked with Whitman, Requardt & Associates and Towson Mechanical to install (9) VTS Air Handling units at Freedom Readiness Center in Sykesville, MD. These Air Handling Units ranged from 2,000CFM to 8,500CFM. These AHU’s included Energy Recovery Wheels and Dynamic V8 Electrostatic Filters. Please watch the attached video to learn more!
